This photograph rocks. Russell Coutts is steering the 90 foot trimaran from his little steering pod. I love the extra helmet just in case he picks up a chick at the bar and needs to give her a ride home!
From all accounts, this boat is a beast; I just hope she stops by the Bay Area at some point.

rumour is she is going to Cali in a couple weeks.
That rumor sounded Southern California-ish to me but then again who knows. Maltese Falcon is supposed to be here in the next couple of weeks, it'd be cool to see them next to each other.
They say the outboard steering station is for changing helmsmen quickly, not that Ellison ever...
I think there's a trap door on the bottom.
I notice you haven't changed your sailing days counter since before the transpac thing. Surely, you count the time you were doing that as sailing days.
