Starbeam Progress

Bob is making excellent progress on Starbeam. As you may recall from the last episode, the foredeck had to be ripped out, the framing fixed and new teak plywood put in place. Bob finished the project, got warm enough weather for the glue to set and did an amazing job lining up the grain.

Next step is approximately 10 hours of sanding before painting and varnishing.

Other good news is that the new sail came. Beautiful piece of crafstmanship, but I just can't figure out why Bob is hiding behind the sail. And yes, it is that beautiful where he lives.

It's now going to be a race to the finish to see whether Clover or Starbeam hits the water first. Place your bets now.
