After last week's terrifying ordeal at the top of the mast, I've decided I've had enough. I'm giving up sailing.
There just isn't enough joy in the sport to make up for the amount of work and expense. It's been a fun ride but I'll just have to devote my energies to my other passion, frisbee golf. It's cheaper, you rarely sink, and you never ever have to climb more than about 5 feet into a tree.
I'll miss the community that I've met both on the water and in the blogosphere but hopefully a few will continue to read this blog as I start my new journey. Fair winds.

Yeah... right... we believe you... NOT!... If you had said you were going over to powerboats, it would have been more believable.
I guess I didn't sell my fear of heights well enough to pull this off. Next year, there's always next year.
Now, for your next assignment, please try to figure out if my shopping cart post is serious or related to April Fools.
NOW you understand!
