I had a whole post today planned out about the importance of knowing your boat and its effect on seamanship. Seriously, I've been thinking about this topic for weeks now. But I just can't bring myself to write about it.
Why? Hawaii.
As we get deeper into planning mode, it's all I can think about. I'm freakin' sailing to Hawaii! Blogosphere, did you hear that?

I've got an idea. Why don't you write about how you feel about your trip to Hawaii? Come on, admit it, you're a tiny bit excited about it aren't you?
I don't know, Tillerman, he seems awfully blase about the whole thing. You'd think people got to sail to Hawaii every week or something.
