I think it's obvious from this picture why he doesn't like sailing. His fingers don't fit through the gloves. What's the point of half-finger sailing gloves if your whole finger won't go through? He's lost that all-important tactile feel for the boat. Once we have that solved; he will be a sailor. Oh yes, he will.
In other news, I'm taking one of Camille's friends out sailing this weekend for a father-daughter sail. Should be fun.

From a kid's perspective: sailing = sugary goodness. I want to keep that equation running as long as possible.
